Welcome to Jesus Our Source Ministries (JOS Ministries)
On the first Sunday of January 2023, JOS Ministries was born at JOS Bakery. It all started with a small fellowship of 7 members, who were all workers at the bakery located at Dome. The Founder and C.E.O, Mr. JOSEPH TETTEH GBINGOR, a devout Christian, noticed that many workers at the bakery were reluctant to attend church service on Sundays. Moved by his love for God and concern for their spiritual well-being, he decided to share the Word, pray, and worship with them.
The founder had received several prophecies about God’s calling on his life, but he didn’t feel ready to fully commit to ministry at the time. Nevertheless, he remained passionate about soul-winning and serving God. As the founder’s schedule became increasingly busy, he appointed a Chaplain, Mr. RICHARD ADJEI, a genuine lover of God's work, to oversee the ministry. We are honored to have MR. RICHARD ADJEI with us today.
Initially, the ministry held weekday fellowships and Sunday services for the bakery workers, which attracted more souls to join the fellowship. By the latter part of 2024, through the divine mercy and intervention of the Holy Spirit, God blessed the Church with an auditorium at the Save More Shopping Center, also located at Dome — where we fellowship today.
Currently, JOS Ministries has 90 adult members (38 males and 52 females) and 40 children (27 girls and 13 boys). The church is governed by a Board of Leaders who make decisions and oversee the affairs of the ministry.
The Founder, Mr. G.T. Joseph, has always been passionate about community development and the well-being of others. He has been involved in various communal labor projects such as:
- Musuku Roundabout
- Taifa Norway Roundabout
- Ofankor
- Water Fountain at the Atomic Roundabout
- Concrete Dustbins at the roadside
- Zebra Crossings at Save More Shopping Centre and the Dome Zonal Council
- Renovation of the Reproductive Child Health Facility at Dome Zonal Council
In just over 2 years, JOS Ministries has grown from a small fellowship of 7 members to a thriving community of 90 adults and 40 children. We are grateful for the divine guidance and provision that have brought us to this point.
As we look to the future, we remain committed to our core values of soul-winning, community development, and serving God. We thank you for being part of our journey and invite you to join us as we continue to grow and serve God together.
May God bless JOS Ministries and guide us as we strive to fulfill His purpose.
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord” Jeremiah 29:11
